Arash Rent A Car Mallorca - General Rental Conditions

1.- The vehicle mentioned in this rental contract can only be driven by the person who signs the said contact.

2.- The vehicle is hired exclusively to carry passengers. Its use for the transport of merchandise, sport events or for any use against the law is strictly forbidden. The hirer will be held totally and absolutely responsible for any fines, sanctions, or any other measures which are applied to the hired vehicle because of improper use and will be subjected to the tribunals of Palma de Mallorca.

3.- The vehicle mentioned in this contract can only be used on the island of Mallorca.

4.-The hirer will not be refunded for any repairs or any kind of expenses paid for the vehicle or repair without prior authorization of the hire company. The cost of punctures to tyres or inner tubes and damage to the wheel will be paid be the hirer.

5.- No extension will be allowed unless specifically authorized by the hire company, and a new applicable contract has been issued.

6.- The hire vehicle is insured for public and criminal liability an for unlimited damage to third parties. Under the said insurance policy the hirer is obliged to pay for the Excess (which varies depending on model) in the event of any damage or accident to the hired vehicle. This Excess is cancelled only if the full risk insurance policy with collision damage waiver (CDW) is taken.

7.- The insurance does not cover damage to inside of the vehicle, nor the hood of convertible cars. The cost of this damage , as well as the loss of keys (€90 - €150) and broken windows, must be paid by the hirer.

8.- In the event of an accident, the hirer must take all details of the vehicles involved, the drivers and insurance companies, and notify ARASH S.L. as soon as possible.

9.- Without prejudice to the established in law for an accident that constitutes an offence or infringement, the person who drives the hired vehicle under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or who has their mental faculties in way disturbed, will assume full and complete responsibility for the damage caused to the hired vehicle, as well as to other vehicles, people, objects, animals, and third parties in general. Whoever drives the vehicle under the abnormal conditions described above, shall also be responsible for the persons or objects being transported in the vehicle.

10.- The hirer declares that at the same time of signing the hire contract, the vehicle mentioned in this contract has been examined  and undertakes to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel or will otherwise pay the difference, no claim being accepted once the vehicle leaves the hire companies premises.

11.-The cost of unused petrol will not be refunded.

12.- The vehicle will only be changed because of technical defect, and only when it is not possible to repair it within reasonable time and always under the supervision of the hire company’s technical staff.

13.-Non-fulfillment of any clause or clauses  shall result in the cancellation of this contract, the hirer having to bear the costs of removing the hire vehicle. The hirer will also lose any amount that may have been handed over as rental or deposit.

14.- The early return of the vehicle will not be cause for early refund.

15.- The hire company and the hirer declare that they are in agreement. With clauses of this contract and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the tribunals of Palma de Mallorca. 16.- The hirer undertakes to return the vehicle to the place specified in the contract.

17.- The hirer declares that all elements of the hire vehicle have been examined entirely to the hirer’s satisfaction, including engine, chassis, tyres, steering, etc. The hirer company is therefore exempt from responsibility for any accidents, delay, or difficulty that the user, or accompanying people, of the referred vehicle suffer as a result of an eventuality not covered in the insurance policy arranged by the hire company.

18.- Any change of address or Hotel must be communicated to the hire company immediately.

Arash Rent A Car Mallorca – Insurance and Extras

All our cars are fully insured and we offer two types of service to our clients – Basic Full Insurance with Excess and CDW ( Collision Damage Waiver).Driver must be minimum 23 years old  with minimum 3 years of driving experience.

The Arash Rent A Car hire vehicle is insured for public and criminal liability an for unlimited damage to third parties. Under the said insurance policy the hirer is obliged to pay for the Excess (which varies depending on model) in the event of any damage or accident to the hired vehicle. This Excess is cancelled only if the full risk insurance policy with collision damage waiver (CDW) is taken.

Basic full insurance is included in the regular rental price with  following excess:

Group A1, A2, B1, B2  -  180.00EUR
Group C1,C2,C3,CC  -  300.00EUR
Group D,E1,E2,E3,Z  -  500.00EUR
Group F  -   1000.00EUR

CDW (cancell excess) is not included in the car rental price and the rates to activate CDW conditions are following:

Group A1, A2, B1, B2: +3EUR/day
Group C1,C2,C3,CC: +5EUR/day
Group D,E1,E2,E3,Z: + 7EUR/day
Group F: Not possible

Please note, that the insurance does not cover damage to inside of the vehicle, nor the hood of convertible cars. The cost of this type of damage, as well as the loss of keys (€90 - €150 per key) and broken windows, must be paid by the hirer.

In the event of an accident, the hirer must take all details of the vehicles involved, the drivers and insurance companies, and notify ARASH S.L. as soon as possible.

As an extra service we provide to our clients children & booster seats. They are available for only 3 EUR per day (maximum 30EUR/hire).
For easy navigation we offer  GPS devices for only  6EUR per day.
