With ARASH Rent a car there are no unpleasant surprises.

 

Can I choose the brand or model of my car?

Our system books by categories (example: Economy 5 door), so there can be many models and brands for each category. Therefore it is not possible for us to guarantee, that you will get a specific model. If at the moment you receive the car we have availability of the one you want, then we will give it to you. The same thing with fuel; you cannot choose between petrol or diesel. Model, fuel and car colour will depend on the cars available in our office on pick up date.

 

Do I need a credit card to make my booking?

Yes. You only can make a reservation, if you give the details of your credit card. That way we can gaurantee and secure your booking. We accept only Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX.

 

Are there age restrictions for renting a car?

One year driving license minimum experience . Minimum Age: 21 years. "Young Driver" Supplement between 21 and 25 years of 8 € / day. Only "Group A, B,C,C1,CC" can be rented. The maximum driver age is 80 years and for drivers over 75 years there is a "Senior Driver" Supplement of 8 € / day. You can not apply the full risk (CDW / SCDW) and the amount of the excess will be charged on your card.

 

Who can drive the car?

Only those who have been added as drivers on the signed rental agreement as main or additional driver. All other drivers are not covered by our insurance.

 

Can I take a car off of the islands?

No. You are not allowed, not even within islands. You are not covered by our insurance.

 

Can I reduce the excess to 0 €?

Yes, it is possible. When making your reservation, you have the option to contract with CDW insurance which eliminates the excess. Only valid for people over 25 years and only until 75 years.

 

Can I have a look to the rates before booking the car?

All you have to do is pick the rental dates and times, the car you want and you will be quoted a price. If you agree with this price, than you can go ahead with the booking.

 

Fuel Policy

We can offer the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, for which we will charge in advance a deposit as seen on the table below. This deposit will be returned to the client, once the car is returned with a full tank.

 

As an alternative, we can deliver the car with minimum a 1/4 tank of fuel, and the client can return it the same way, without having to leave a deposit.

 

In either case, if the customer returns the car with less fuel than agreed, the client needs to pay for the missing fuel plus a 20€ service fee.

Rates may change, depending on the increases and / or decreases in fuel prices. 

 

Which documents do I need to receive my car?

Please bring your passport or ID card, drivers licence and credit card. If there are additional drivers, passport or ID card and drivers licence.

IMPORTANT! In case of a police control you must be able to show your passport or ID card and driving licence. Copies are not allowed!

 

Can I return the car in a different place than I received it?

Yes. You should indicate this when booking, as long as it is included in the areas that we operate. For rentals of less then 4 days with delivery in one place and return in another place, the client has to pay a fee of 35€. For rentals of 4 days or more this service is for free.

IMPORTANT! We do not deliver or collect cars inside the ACIRE areas in Palma!

 

How can I cancel my reservation? Is there any penalty for canceling

Simply calling our telephone +34 971 675 490 or sending an e-mail to info@arashrentacar.com.

 

Cancellations without penalty must be made with a minimum of 96 hours respect to the start of rent which shall be considered at 08.00 am on the first day. Otherwise the following shall apply:

Between 96 and 72 h be paid 25% of the total agreed price.

Between 72 h and 48 h, 50% will be paid the agreed price.

Between 48 and 24 hours will be paid 75% of the total agreed price.

Less than 24 hours shall be paid 100% of the total agreed price.

 

Will I receive my car in the Airport?

Yes. You can pick up the car in front of the arrivals terminal, at the 3th floor of the airport parking. There are no waiting times at a office and you go straight to the car, which is ready for you in the parking. The procedure will be explained by email with the booking confirmation.

 

Do I have to pay extra to receive or return my car in the Airport?

For bookings of less than 3 days with delivery at the airport, the client will be charged a  "airport service" of 20€. For rentals of 3 days or more this service is for free. The customer will pay the parking fee at Palma airport at the time of collection. Rent a car Arash will pay the parking fee when the customer returns the vehicle at the termination of his contract. For car returns between 22:00 and 08:00 there is a "airport late night" fee of 20€.

 

Can you deliver/pick up the car to my Flat/Hotel/Villa? Do I have to pay extra?

We can deliver the vehicle to the address of your choice, as long as it is in the areas that we operate. Please indicate the full address of the pick-up/return correctly. IMPORTANT! We do not deliver cars inside the ACIRE areas in Palma!

For bookings of less then 4 days with delivery in another place as the airport or our office in Portals Nous, the client has to pay the "delivery service" of 20€. For rentals of 4 days or more this service is for free. 

 

Is the compulsory car insurance included in the fee?

Yes, the coverage of the compulsory car insurance and liability insurance to ensure damages against third parties are always included in the rental.
